Rotary Furnace Asst. and Maintenance Technician

Rotary Furnace Production Assistant / Maintenance Technician QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid Driver's License
• Ability to pass a background check, physical and drug screen
• Lift, carry, push or pull up to 50# frequently and up to 100# occasionally
• Efficiently manage your time - excellent attendance is required
• Positive attitude and the ability to work well independently and as part of a team
• Must be able to work extended periods of time in heat and cold as dictated by outside temperatures
• Forklift and bucket loader experience preferred, but not required

Rotary Furnace Production Assistant / Maintenance Technician WORK SCHEDULE:

• Plant operates 12.25 hour shifts (4:45am-5pm or 4:45pm-5am) 7 days a week.
• Positions have rotating schedules 36.75 to 49 hours per week. (time and a half for over 40 hours)
• Preference to candidates who are able and willing to work the overnight shift (4:45pm-5am)

Rotary Furnace Production Assistant / Maintenance Technician WAGE AND BENEFITS:

• Starting wage is $20-23/hr + Shift differential
• Opportunities for overtime if desired

Salary: $20-24/hour including shift differential

Rotary Furnace Production Assistant / Maintenance Technician JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Wear all required personal protective equipment and clothing
• Work safely around moving equipment and hot metal
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times
• Inspect finish product to ensure quality standards are met
• Safely operate a forklift and bucket loader to transport product throughout plant
• Perform routine maintenance and inspection of production equipment
• Assist maintenance personnel as directed during upset conditions, downtime's or line malfunctions
• Perform other job duties as required or requested
