In order to maintain the strength and relevance of our brands, we are currently hiring for a Marketing Associate on our Paid and Social Media Team. If you have the skills and experiences outlined below, we would love to hear from you!

Primary Responsibilities:

The Marketing Associate will be a key participant in implementation of our paid and social media plans across all brands within RTE cereal, a $2B business within Post Consumer Brands. Reporting to the Paid and Social Media Manager, this position is responsible for driving brand growth through our media and social channels. This opportunity will require the ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment, multi-task, and manage multiple projects. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, will be required to keep other functional areas apprised of and engaged in the brand communications initiatives and performance. The position requires an ability to proactively anticipate obstacles and the flexibility to seek alternative solutions to keep projects on track. The ability to analyze information to draw insights and conclusions and make tactical business decisions is essential.

· Manage Paid and Social Media strategy for 2-3 brands at Post Consumer Brands

o Monitor and Manage Social Communities (Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest)

o Develop social content strategy and work with creative team to create assets.

· Lead and execute media plans for responsible brands

o Work directly with brand teams to fully understand business strategies, objectives and KPIs and translate them into paid media and social communication plans

o Manage brand media budget

o Lead media agency through planning process and execution to ensure brand needs and objectives are being addressed

o Work with creative team and agency to create necessary assets and ensure they are trafficked against the media plan

· Analyze and report on media performance to make recommendations for optimizations

· Stay up to date on trends in media, and build a pipeline of future opportunities for your brands

Job Complexity

The ACM role within Post Consumer Brands offers an exciting opportunity to hone media skills and drive volume growth by identifying and delivering on compelling consumer and customer needs. This role may develop into a long-term marketing career of increasing responsibility or it could also lead to new and exciting experiences within a number of work functions within Post Consumer Brands.

Internal: Contact with many functional areas in corporate office including Brand Marketing, Creative Services, Finance, Planning and Insights, Shopper Marketing and other Marketing Communications Teams to collaborate and drive the business forward together.

External: Primary external contact is with media and creative agencies as well as media vendors. Contact with professional peers to stay current on market trends.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Education: BA required
  • Experience: minimum of 2 years in media planning or social community management, either client or agency side

Required Skills:

  • Critical thinking, experience with media planning and reporting, ability to communicate effectively, strong organizational skills

Work Location:

This position is based in Lakeville, MN, and may include up to 5% travel.
