Description

We are currently seeking a Life Enrichment Director to become a part of our leadership team!  This individual will provide a calendar of planned activities for our residents. This includes wellness activities, fitness activities, entertainment, shopping, dining out, sports games, other social gatherings and various other life activities. The Life Enrichment Director provides resource and support to all residents and staff in the social and interactive operations of the community.

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Create and implement the community’s life enrichment program.
  • Manage department, staff and volunteers to carry out a comprehensive life enrichment program for residents.
  • Maintain department budget, place orders for equipment and supplies as necessary.
  • Collaborate with other department leaders on community activity planning and other events.
  • Determine departmental staffing requirements and assignments; monitor department work hours, including vacation and holiday schedules), personnel, work assignments to ensure proper workflow and adequate staffing levels.
  • May be asked to transport residents in company provided vehicle to/from various activities or appointments.
  • May be requested to be in attendance of special planned events, parties or other engagements.

Minimum Requirements

A successful candidate possesses the following:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience preferred in Senior Living including but not limited to IL, AL, Memory Care, Long-term Care or Home Health.
  • Exhibit outstanding customer service skills and contribute to a friendly and dynamic atmosphere.
  • Exhibit high level of professionalism, courtesy and time management skills.
