Certified Nursing Assistant CNA LPN

Responsibilities This position will provide safe, personal patient care at the hospice house including but not limited to:

Bed bath, tub bath, or showerWeighs patientVital signsReminds patient to take medication as specified by RNDental, hair, and nail care, shaving, dressing/undressingElimination needs including toileting by offering bedpan, urinal, or taking to bathroom. (Includes catheter care, colostomy, urine testing/collection.)Ambulating, transferring, positioning by using assistive devices such as walker, wheelchair, and prescribed ROM when taught by health care professional of Ministry Home CareProvides housekeeping duties: meal preparation and cleanup, dusting, sweeping and mopping, vacuuming, stain removal, tidying patient rooms, recycling and garbage removal, doing patient's personal laundry, dishes, and tidying the bathroom after bathing the patientFeeds patients, maintains, intake/output as requested

Qualifications Education/Licensing/Certification:

• Must be certified as a Nursing Assistant, passed the State Medication Assistant course, and be currently listed on the state's Nursing Assistant registry
• LPN/RN with current state license may also be considered
• Current Driver's License
• Must be CPR certified

Experience:

• Prior health care experience is preferred

Knowledge and Skills:

• Computer skills required
