Creative Commercial Industrial Property, Construction, Maintenance Manager Bohm, an entrepreneurial real estate company established in 2006, offers a professional yet casual, creative family type office environment located in the Thorp Building in NE Minneapolis in a renovated mixed/open office environment. Work with talented highly competent team members who believe the strategy for success is rooted in continuous improvement and learning. We will continue to add people to our team who like what they do and realize the importance, viability and economies of satisfying or exceeding the expectations of our stakeholders: investors, tenants, government entities, contractors, service, suppliers and commercial real estate agents. One of our key overall responsibilities is to manage and repurpose the Thorp Building in NE Minneapolis : a 250,000 square foot creative light industrial property with beautiful bones and an important place in world and Minnesota history. By applying adaptive reuse methodology, retaining the memory of the past uses, synergistic tenanting strategies, environmental remediation and physical revitalization of the General Mills WWII military industrial facility working with a broad spectrum of stakeholders we are creating inspirational, viable, cost effective space. Currently 90 tenants including a Lego kit company, a distillery and cocktail room, a retail point of sale designer and manufacturer, commercial photographers, a coffee shop, framing shop, art gallery and artists lease at the Thorp Building, the Birthplace of Art-A-Whirl. ResponsibilitiesGeneral support role of the asset manager and property management and leasing at the Thorp Building. Qualifications/SkillsReal estate management/business to business customer service experience or equivalentReal Estate License preferredStrong Excel, Word, Outlook, Act! software skillsAdobe Creative Suite knowledge preferredAutoCAD/REVIT knowledge preferedDegree from a four-year college or university program with an emphasis in real estate, business, marketing, design or related field required or experience equivalent; both preferredAbility to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to stakeholders.Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations.Decisions made with understanding of procedures, company policies, and business practices to achieve general results and deadlines.Strong organizational and analytical skills. Primary Functions and DutiesProperty ManagementInteract with tenants, resolve issues supporting building property management and maintenance functions, lease administration. Provide professional and warm office and phone reception.Manage Janitorial Service, Grounds Service and Snow removal service to ensure Building standards are maintained.Coordinate contractorsManage and support maintenance team, building services and construction contractors by locating and sourcing hard to find materialsClear and timely tenant coordination for building projects and eventsManage Office Organize office areas effectively and efficiently. Maintain files. Ensure confidentiality of documents when appropriate. Responsible for general office supplies like paper, ink cartridges, pens, pencils, etc. Obtain competitive prices.Growth RequirementsAbility to establish educational goals to enhance job skills.Ability to enhance technological skills.Participates in community and business organizations which will enhance business and life skills. Coordinate construction contractors, building services and maintenance team.
