Network Engineer

Overview

The Network Engineer will be responsible for assisting with design, implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of in-scope network technologies in the Meraki production environment. Will be responsible to assist Lead Engineer with the administration of the Meraki Dashboard, handling escalations, support and team direction. They will act as mentors to new team members on network topologies, processes, and procedures. They will routinely interact with the Network Engineering staff and management on issues and escalations. Respond to incident tickets and outages, providing technical expertise in problem resolution. They will design and implement moderately complex technical solutions and will work with the engineering team members and management. They will receive escalated technical issues for resolution. They will be capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

Looking for someone with 5+ years' network experience and a strong knowledge of Cisco Meraki devices and the Meraki Dashboard. Good communication skills and phones skills are very important

Minimum requirements:??? CCNA or equivalent experience Minimum??? 3-5 years Enterprise Network Experience??? Meraki Dashboard experience ??? Incident Ticketing a must (e.g. Remedy, Service-Now, etc) Service-Now experience a plus??? Strong analytical, organizational and teamwork skills are a must??? Strong communication and phone skills a must??? Must have attention to detail and be able to handle multiple tasks well??? Working knowledge of Meraki Security Appliances and AP's including MX84, MX65W, MX68W, MX64W & MR33??? Experience with broadband and Fibre circuits??? Working knowledge of switches is a plus??? Some experience in project management??? Cisco IPS/IDS knowledge is a plus??? Cisco Firewall experience a plus
