Descriptionbackground check requiredCAREERS THAT CHANGE LIVESThe Senior IT Business Systems Analyst will analyze business requirements, operational processes, and data relationships/configurations for our manufacturing environment within Coronary & Structural Heart Operations. This role is responsible for ongoing support and maintenance of business applications including an ERP software system - Exact MAX, custom-developed applications and off the shelf solutions for product labeling and other processes. This person will have technical knowledge of manufacturing systems and interfaces to other in house company systems, will work with complex problems, issues, and processes and will provide support to the operations function by suggesting improvements through enhancements and change requests.A DAY IN THE LIFE Provide support & training to the site for manufacturing systems - specifically supporting best practices within MAX ERP and custom applications Work closely with functional business partners to understand the business needs and provide innovative system solutions Participate and lead requirements gathering sessions Solve problems and demonstrate knowledge of the business function in the assigned area and/or technical discipline by interacting with all levels of users Establishing relationships and navigate a matrixed environment to drive to solutions Assist in supporting data integrations/file transfers to and from site manufacturing systems, vendor systems, and other downstream in house company systems Create, review, update & execute test scenarios for technical components Work with business resources, testers, internal support teams and 3rd party vendors on issue analysis and defect resolution Engagement with COS and other business initiatives Support multiple projects and drive multiple activities at the same time while delivering on commitments of high quality, on time and on budget Ensure proper compliance and validation documentation are created for projects and change requests (i.e. The Company's Systems Compliance Methodology) Basic QualificationsMUST HAVE (Minimum Qualifications) Bachelor's Degree 4+ years of relevant IT experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 2+ years of relevant IT experience with an advanced degree Experience working in a Manufacturing support environment Proven problem solving, decision-making and issue resolution skills Ability to work independently while being a dedicated team player A highly demonstrated sense of urgency Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills Desired/Preferred QualificationsNICE TO HAVE Knowledge of ERP systems/processes and/or Exact MAX Medical device or related industry experience Ability to troubleshoot and/or interpret custom software code (i.e. .Net , VB) Demonstrated experience with data acquisition through SQL queries General understanding of reporting - Business Objects General understanding of SQL databases A3/DMAIC problem-solving principles General understanding of IT infrastructure, technologies, concepts and nomenclature Familiarity with Microsoft operating systems and client application installations Familiarity with Citrix, VMWare Project management experience, project plans, leading meetings #HighHorizontal Integration is proud to be an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.
