Job Summary

The Lead Software Engineer - iOS & Android App Development in the Application Development (AD) team will work with high-quality software development teams using new technologies, DevOps, serverless, agile, industry standards using Cloud/Mobile/API first approaches. Works closely with the Director of Application Development team and managers of multiple software groups within this group. Responsible for driving mobile technology build, test and deploy mobile apps. Translates functional and business requirements into technical specifications and creates unit/integration tests to ship a reliable and performant mobile product.
Demonstrates the ability to build scalable and highly secure enterprise apps for IT and developing industry-leading, world-class products within the healthcare industry.
Manages mobile application development, architecture design and deployment activities on multiple platforms. Develops high level mobile solution design when implementing business requirements. Works alongside product owner(s) and UI/UX designers to realize a shared vision.
Creates beautiful, pixel-perfect UIs across both mobile platforms that look and feel native. Establishes and maintains application principles, design and coding standards and guidelines. Executes RESTful APIs in order to connect applications to back-end services.
Exhibits strong knowledge of Android and iOS UI design principles, patters and best practices. Displays strong understanding of Android and iOS Frameworks and hands on integration of third party API. Experience with native Android and iOS SDKs preferred. Demonstrates familiarity with native create tools like Xcode, Android Studio/IntelliJ and Gradle.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in a computer-related field required. Master's degree preferred.
Minimum of five years’ experience of hands-on mobile app development and architecture experience with iOS and/or Android required.
React Native Development experience preferred. Experience with loT and web/cloud-based technologies preferred.
Demonstrates familiarity with Agile or Scrum software development process in a team environment.
