The Vice President Loan Operations Manager is responsible to ensure the loan documentation, processing and servicing departments have efficiently and accurately processed, perfected and maintained loan documentation for all consumer, agriculture and commercial areas of the bank. This position is responsible for establishing processes, procedures and expectations that lead to the upmost level of completeness and accuracy within our loan processes and supporting documentation. The VP/Loan Operations Manager leads a high performance culture by creating a work environment that supports engagement, innovation, creativity, and teamwork, consistent with the organization’s vision, core values, and team guidelines.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Creating an ongoing awareness of all current programs, regulations, and rules in regards to compliance within the mortgage industry.
  • Establishing ongoing business development objectives that work to market Western to realtors, home owners, and potential home buyers. This includes community outreach and volunteer opportunities that create an awareness of Western within our community.
  • Prepare loans and assist customers with pre-qualification letters in order to quantify the amount of loan and quality of loan. This includes communication between realtor and customer.
  • Work with customer and internal processing team to finalize a compliant disclosure and continue the processing, appraisal, and underwriting process.
  • Answer continuous customer inquiries via phone and email.
  • Work internally with Customer Service Reps and Personal Bankers to cross-sell other bank products and find value added solutions for our customers.

 

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field required with a minimum of ten years banking experience. Five years of supervisory experience strongly preferred.
