Description

Edgewood Healthcare is currently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to manage clinical care to an assigned group of residents and to provide manager support to clinical services staff in our beautiful Mandan (ND) location. 

Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Participates in completing comprehensive nursing assessments of all residents on admission and on an ongoing basis according to company, state & federal regulations.
  • Works with physicians and other medical professionals, interdisciplinary team to ensure quality care
  • Assures assigned residents receive ordered medication, treatments and other care tasks to support quality of life.
  • Assures resident care for assigned residents is completed through reviewing documentation and updating as necessary.
  • Along with the Clinical Services Director, provide continuity of care for residents through maintaining accurate and complete documentation, participating in team and care meetings, submitting written reports, renewal of orders as appropriate, referrals, sharing observations regarding the social and physical factors in the environment that affect resident care.
  • Communicates effectively to the Clinical Services Director of any changes that need to be made on the care plan.
  • Assists in the selection, onboarding, training and development of clinical care staff.
  • Addresses any areas of concerns from residents, families and or staff.
  • Oversee additional areas as needed based on census, number of residents, staffing and/or needs of the company.

Minimum Requirements

A successful candidate will possess:
  • Current RN licensure for state of North Dakota is required.
  • Work experience that demonstrates increased level of supervisory responsibility and 3 or more years of increased responsibility in the healthcare field
  • Knowledge of basic nursing skills; knowledge and familiarity with the therapeutic effects and side effects of all medications administered.
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbal and in written form.
