Job Summary

Contribute to Sanford Health marketing programs while obtaining first-hand experience that align with the mission, vision, and values of the organization. Learn how to develop customer loyalty through the effective development and efficient execution of evidence-based, innovative, and inspiring marketing strategies. This is a paid internship and students that are accepted will be expected to comply with all Sanford policies and procedures.
As a Sanford Health Marketing Design Intern, you will work directly with and report to the Design Manager. You will work with a team of designers, including Graphic Designers, Senior Designer and Lead Designers. Interns will be expected to assist on a number of creative projects that require design support.
Sanford Health Design Interns will work on a myriad of projects, ranging from, but not limited to, creation of brochures, posters, promotional materials, direct mail, web banners, event signage, fliers and internal communications. Interns will also help with project-related tasks such as copying, photo editing, printing, bindery and editing/updating design files, as well as preforming other supportive tasks as needed by the design team.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will be either a recent graduate with a degree in graphic communications or closely related field or student of junior/senior standing. In addition, an individual must:
1) Communicates well, both in written and verbal form. 2) Proficient user of InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. 3) Basic understanding of HTML, CSS and JS. 4) Proficient with MAC operating software. 5) A highly organized individual who is a quick learner and a multi-tasker. Work collaboratively with organization leadership, enhancing knowledge and skills and improving the delivery of quality healthcare. Assist in the completion of projects and administrative duties while developing skills related to the assigned function and/or location. Attend training and development opportunities, learning about various processes and functions within the organization.

Qualifications

Current enrollment or recent graduate of an Associate's or Bachelor's degree program from an accredited college or university.
Knowledge of healthcare industry preferred. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
