Job Summary

Contribute to Sanford operations and processes while obtaining first hand experiences that align with the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
The intern will work for Enterprise Clinic Services, specifically the Immunization Strategy Leader. The intern will support the work of Sanford's Enterprise Immunization Strategy Leader. This is inclusive of coordinating meetings, compiling and analyzing data and reports. Their work environment will be an office space or office cubicle.
The immunization program intern will be working on a number of projects. The intern will work the Immunization Strategy Leader and EDA to transition current reports into a more useful platform. The intern will assist with completing grant applications focused on improving immunization rates. The intern will dig into the immunization programs budget to outline a annual budget which ensures the sustainability of the program. The intern will support the transition of Sanford's Vax Champ program into a Online Community within Success Center. Additionally, they will support the execution of the current Vax Champ program.
Development opportunities: multi-disciplinary enterprise meetings, grant writing, leadership development.
Qualifications:
Ideal candidate is pursuing their masters in public health. This background would allow them the knowledge about vaccines, analyzing data, etc. Must be proficient in Excel. Work collaboratively with organization leadership, enhancing knowledge and skills and improving the delivery of quality healthcare. Assist in the completion of projects and administrative duties while developing skills related to the assigned function and/or location. Attend training and development opportunities, learning about various processes and functions within the organization.

Qualifications

Current enrollment or recent graduate of an Associate's or Bachelor's degree program from an accredited college or university.
Knowledge of healthcare industry preferred. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
