Genetic Counselor
Duluth, MN
Essentia Health is currently looking for a Certified Genetic Counselor to support a genetic counseling program. An ideal candidate would also have some specialization in Maternal Fetal Medicine, Oncology, and/or Neurology.

PRACTICE SPECIFICS
- Seeking 1 additional Genetic Counselor to join a growing team
- Large referral base
- Opportunity to specialize based on candidate's interests
- Clinic hours: 8am-5pm
REQUIREMENTS
- Master's degree in Genetic Counseling from an accredited program
- Board certified or eligible for genetic counseling required. American Board of Genetic Counseling OR the American Board of Medical Genetics required
- At least 1 year of previous experience preferred but will consider new graduates
ADDITIONAL SKILLS REQUIRED
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to interpret and discuss genetic test procedures, results and genetic diseases in terms understandable by patients
- Promote and maintain compatible working relationships among other personnel in the department and organization
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately
