If you are ready to take on a leadership role but are not able to within your current company structure this is the opportunity for you! We are currently seeking a full-time Structural Project Manager for our team in Baraboo, Champaign or Madison. This position will lead our structural practice including mentoring staff and project management with the opportunity to transition into a Team Leader level role. MSA's structural team maintains a close relationship with both public and private sector clients for building projects in the region. Our team specialize in the design and construction of practical, aesthetically-pleasing structures with an excellent record of accurate cost estimating. MSA's team has the expertise to tackle a wide variety of structures including high-rises, recreation centers, municipal buildings, wastewater tanks, wastewater buildings, agriculture structures and waterfront projects. MSA's size and culture ensure that we provide extensive marketing and support for your professional development.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist with structural design of steel, masonry, concrete, and wood structures
  • Project management including project planning, scoping, budgeting, contracting, and QA/QC
  • Team management including mentoring, professional development of team, and managing workload of staff
  • Client relations including meetings with existing, targeted, and new clients
  • Marketing including proposals and interviews


Required Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or architecture required
  • Master's degree with emphasis on structural design preferred
  • 10 years of prior structural design experience required including experience with steel, masonry, concrete and wood required
  • SE license required
  • Prior experience with mentoring and managing a team or desire to step into that role
  • We are looking for someone with to be a hands on manager with the ability to be a seller/doer
  • Involvement in professional organizations would be a plus
