The Mental Health Professional is a licensed counselor that will provide services in both a domestic violence shelter setting and in the community. The MHP will provide individual and group counseling for adult domestic violence survivors and children witnesses to domestic violence.
- Master's Degree in metal health field
- LICSW, LPCC, LPC, or LMFT licensure or ability to obtain license
- Knowledge of community mental health needs and resources
- Understanding of domestic violence
- Good written, oral, & organizational skills
- Flexible schedule may include some evenings & weekends
- Ability to support non mental health staff crisis response
- Ability to work with diverse groups
- Ability to balance advocacy with therapy
