Job Details
GRAIN ELEVATOR LABORER
A well-respected grain storage facility is hiring in the Duluth, MN area. Physical labor involving using a grain scoop to shovel grains, dust and by product, using a wheel barrow, push brooms, extended handle brushes and air wands, use of iron bars and rail car openers, opening the tops of rail cars, winter ice and snow clean up, scraping, and cleaning under belts and bins 100 feet or more decent into a confined space. Very dusty conditions at times, kneeling, bending, twisting, turning, overhead cleaning, able to lift up to 50 pounds or more frequently. The working hours are Monday through Friday, 7am to 3pm, mandatory overtime in the evenings and some Saturday and or Sunday overtime. Must be available to work all days of the week and all shifts during busy periods. Must be able to pass a criminal background check, current and valid drivers license with a good driving record, drug test and physical before starting.
