Typical Day in the Life

A typical day as a Marketing Coordinator in Bismarck, ND might include the following:
  • Work with partners and managers to schedule and participate in meetings to discuss RFPs and proposals for our clients.
  • Create, produce and deliver high-quality, customized proposals.
  • Assist with firm-hosted seminars, webinars and networking events, invitations, registrations, on-site set-up, coordination and post-event follow-up.
  • Help ensure proper marketing materials and promotional giveaways are compiled and printed for trade shows, conferences and firm-hosted events.
  • Assist with the registration of partners/managers for conferences, meetings, golf tournaments and trade shows. Organize and deliver materials to trade show booths. Work booths when needed and appropriate.
  • Create and coordinate other marketing collateral including presentations, speaking engagement submittals, testimonials and staff biographies/resumes.
  • Assist with marketing budget items, including tracking/reconciling expenses and submitting invoices.
  • Assist Partners/Managers and Regional Marketing Manager with developing and directing business development initiatives and goals.
  • Develop press releases for recognition, promotions, articles and other pertinent information to be communicated internally and externally.
  • Prepare and present business development updates at quarterly office-wide meetings.
  • Act as a liaison between the local office and the marketing/communications staff, through requesting marketing materials, invitations, advertisements, etc. The marketing coordinator works hand in hand with the communications staff to successfully bring the branding to life in the Aberdeen market.
  • Work alongside the Partner in Charge and Regional Marketing Manager to make decisions regarding sponsorships, advertisements and to develop the overall marketing plan of the market, while keeping the budget in mind.
  • Assist with campus recruiting initiatives and events such as Meet Eide Bailly Day, Summer Leadership, on-site interviews, etc. in collaboration with the Firm's Recruiting team.

 

Who You Are
  • You have a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or a related field.
  • You have marketing communications and business development experience in a marketing or administrative role (internship experience preferred).
  • You possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • You have strong attention to detail and an in-depth knowledge and application of English grammar and the ability to edit/proofread written materials including proposals, presentations and related documents.
  • You have excellent interpersonal, organizational and follow-up skills.
  • You are a self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment, managing multiple competing priorities while remaining calm under pressure.
  • You have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office 10 (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat skills (required).
  • You have knowledge of CRM and exporting data from sources such as SalesForce, IBISWorld and other research platforms (preferred).
  • You have digital marketing/social media experience (preferred).
  • You have experience with RFP and proactive proposal preparation process (preferred)

Must be authorized to work in the United States permanently without the requirement of sponsorship at any point in the future.
