Baker

Position Description:
*This position is responsible for working with the central bakery staff to produce quality scratch baked goods for the department.
*Follows recipes and produces a quality product while maintaining proper temperatures.
*Works with and maintains all equipment necessary to perform duties.
*Works in a safe and sanitary manner.
*Works with student employees providing leadership and guidance.
*Provides outstanding customer service at all times to all persons.

Minimum Qualifications:
*High School Diploma or GED
*2 years of baking experience in a commercial bakery operation or its equivalent
*Experience with Microsoft Office
*Good oral and written communication skills
*Ability to meet the physical and health requirements for the position
*Outstanding customer service skills
*Excellent interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:
*Scratch Baking Experience
*Food Safety Certified

Physical Demands:

• Continuously stand walk, use hands dexterously, reach with hands and arms, see, talk or hear, taste or smell and lift up to 10 pounds.
• Frequently lift up to 25 pounds.
• Occasionally sit, climb or balance, stoop/kneel/crouch or crawl.
