Monona is looking for a talented, hardworking, experienced individual with fire sprinkler design knowledge to serve as Senior Designer.

Job Summary

We are looking for a senior level designer whose duties will include design and project management. This position will be responsible for all aspects of the Design and project management of their individual projects. The Senior Designer is responsible for the complete design and management of large scale and high challenge fire sprinkler projects. This position serves as primary point of contact with customers and supports the field team to ensure project is on schedule and within budget.

Designs include but are not limited to wet, dry, and pre-action sprinkler systems, standpipe systems, fire pump room layouts, foam sprinkler systems, and water storage tanks.

Job Qualifications

• 5+ years of sprinkler system design experience to include a variety of different systems
• Expert use of AutoCAD or Revit, Navisworks, and HydraCAD
• Ability to perform all aspects of a complete design
• Ability to effectively manage projects with little input from others
• NICET Level III or IV certification
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced construction office and field project environment
• Must be able to interact professionally with all levels of customers and internal staff
• Ability to simultaneously manage a diversified workload and challenging situations efficiently and effectively
