Job Details
Performs maintenance duties for the service department & facility, turf pickups/deliveries, and assists service department staff.
Responsibilities:
o Washes new and used machines, using either mobile or facility washing equipment
o Performs timely maintenance and routine inspections of the facility, service vehicles, and trailers
o Works closely with the location service manager on shop & facility repairs
o Perform facility and grounds maintenance for the dealer properties (snow removal, lot maintenance, and weed control)
o Supports the True North Equipment Detail Specialist with machine cleaning and detailing tasks
o Performs forklift/payloader operations to transport parts, equipment and supplies for the dealership
o Assists and supports the moving of displays/equipment within the dealership properties
o Performs turf deliveries and pickups of products to and from customers and True North locations
o Timely completion of work orders and any necessary documentation required in conjunction with job assignments
o Maintains a clean and organized tool room
o Maintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly fashion
o Follows all safety rules and regulations set by True North Equipment and OSHA, in performing work assignments
o Ability to perform the physical requirements of the job and work 45+ hours per week, and every other Saturday during peak business needs
o Must be able to work in a fast-paced team oriented environment
o Accountable for all time and material used in performing assigned tasks
o Supports other service related functions and tasks under the direction of the location service manager, and the overall success of True North Equipment
Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:
o Ability to lift items weighing up to 75 pounds as needed
o Ability to perform multiple duties as assigned
o Customer service skills
o Basic knowledge of equipment safety procedures
o Basic computer skills, ability to use Service Delivery system to assist Service Manager with RO’s
o Valid driver’s license required, a clean MVR, and meet requirements to drive company owned vehicles
Pay and Benefits:
o $11-$17/hr starting, depending on experience
