SUMMARY:
The Technical Writer will create instruction manuals and other supporting documents to communicate complex and technical information more easily. They will also develop, gather and provide technical information to customers, designers and production.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (Include but not limited to)

• Responsible for the creation, writing and/or editing of product manuals, product specifications, customer data sheets, manufacturing work instructions and similar. This responsibility will require focus to both new and current product and technical literature.
• Assemble manuals for daily shipments as needed.
• Organize and maintain central file location.
• Manage technical writing projects and communicate project updates to key team members - within a timely fashion.
• Works very closely with Product Management, Marketing Communications and Engineering.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION

• 3 to-5 years of technical writing experience.
• Prefer some technical writing experience that involved Modbus, BACnet or other computer languages.
• Must have solid command of the English Language and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Spanish language proficiency not required - but desired.
• Experience in simplifying or explaining technical concepts via diagrams, images and/or videos
• Basic Microsoft Office Suite Software
