Pricing Strategy Manager Since 1912, Phillips Distilling Company (PDC) has been producing high-quality spirits and popular brands. This position will provide analytics on competitive activity, category trends, product allocations, pricing recommendations and key performance indicator reporting of our amazing portfolio of brands. Pribrands. The Pricing Strategy Manager is responsible to work closely with the Commercial Finance Manager, Sales Team and Senior Leadership in the continuous development of national pricing strategies and pricing models for implementation through a three-tier network; utilizing a process which is fact-based, sustainable and scalable to support and deliver company objectives for long term profit and growth. The successful candidate will demonstrate a high level of critical and analytical thinking to meet and or exceed our Sales Teams expectations, ensuring the department and business objectives are met and delivered in a dynamic and ever-changing environment. This position is located in Minneapolis and will not have direct reports at this time, but may in the future. Essential Duties Develop National Retail Pricing Strategy across the Phillips three-tier networks; leveraging AC Nielson, Survey Data (Go-Spot-Check), OLAP Tools (Oracle/VIP) and scorecard metrics to ensure pricing recommendations are grounded in facts and deliver expected results. Develop detailed price structures by market for multiple channels and go-to-market strategies. Considering pricing elasticity and growth strategies. Create detailed price modeling and scorecard metrics to both measure pricing change recommendations. Utilize AC Nielsen, IRI, and other applicable data to analyze competitive and consumer trends, emerging opportunities, and fully understanding the competitive market to better position our products in the marketplace. Conduct promotional program evaluations, deliver findings and recommendations to the Finance and Sales Team. Build collaborative, cross functional relationships to function in a high performing team environment. Prepare and deliver regular scorecard to internal and external stakeholders. Provide support to Finance and Sales Organization as needed with items such as ad-hoc reporting and analysis. Serve as expert on product portfolio. All other duties as assigned. Minimum Job Requirements Bachelor's degree with 7+ years' experience in sales/finance/business analyst role; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in price modeling and delivering pricing strategies required, spirits industry preferred. CPG experience is desired, but not required. Experience utilizing and interpreting AC Nielsen and IRI data. Proficient Computer and IT Skills; strong spreadsheet and presentation programs. Experience utilizing VIP data preferred. Detail oriented, with excellent verbal and written communications; exceptional interpersonal and collaborative ability to work in a "team first" approach environment.
