Edgewood is looking for an organized individual to fill our business Office Assistant position. This individual is responsible for ensuring efficient business office functions related to the administration of all employment related practices with a focus on staffing and recruitment efforts.

Edgewood is looking for an organized individual to fill our business Office Assistant position. This individual is responsible for ensuring efficient business office functions related to the administration of all employment related practices with a focus on staffing and recruitment efforts.
Specific job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Prepare and maintain daily schedule in a timely manner.
- Coordinate the scheduling function at the property in collaborating with their direct supervisor.
- Assist in new hire orientation and annual in-service employee training.
- Complete the monthly direct care employee schedule in accordance with company and property needs.
- Performs HR-duties including, but not limited to: New hire processes; facilitating Orientation; managing leave of absence paperwork; workers’ compensation; set up and maintain associate personnel and medical files; I-9s/E-Verify.
- Safeguards the confidentiality of documents, records, files and other sensitive information to include: personnel and medical files, I-9's, payroll records, etc.

Minimum Requirements
A successful candidate possesses the following:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Associates degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or other related area is a plus.
- Practical knowledge of HR/Payroll procedures, Accounting/bookkeeping policies and systems is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications is required.
- Excellent communication skills – verbal, written and presentation skills, required.
- Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy and thoroughness is necessary.
