JOB SUMMARY

Investigates current processes, evaluates process efficiency, proposes process improvements and presents improvement options to management and back-end engineering teams.
Creates process documentation and contributes to process knowledge base. Performs evaluations of continuous improvement ideas/options across all engineering teams. Assist both innovation and strategy development with subject matter expertise. Understands and interprets Key Performance Indicators (KPI's), Service Level Agreements (SLA's) and other information technology (IT) Service performance metrics.
Leads and supports the development and implementation of program documentations to include Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and improved workflows required to deliver high quality, satisfactory and consistent support. Researches and articulates the value of disruptive information technology. Experiments with new technologies that can be leveraged to add value and consistency to operations.
Gathers business and operational requirements, map processes and develops functional specifications in support of operational and business priorities. Coordinates testing and process changes through the organization as needed. Conducts process open mic and Kaizen sessions. Assists with process inventory management and audit support. Assists with process operations and special projects.
Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills. Conscientiously considers patient safety, ethics, industry standards and known regulations in decisions and practices regarding the design, operation, maintenance and use of the computer systems. Possesses proficiency in process engineering and re-design. Understands deliver methodology such as scrum, Agile, ITIL, etc. Experienced with Six Sigma, LEAN or Business Process Management (BPM) techniques. Critical thinking skills and autonomy are necessary to perform the daily tasks. Stimulate problem solving and innovation. Processes large quantities of detailed information with high levels of accuracy.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analyzes policy and standards documentation and ensures organizational compliance.
• Assesses the results of a training needs analysis initiative conducted within a department or function.
• Compares key metrics against benchmarks and goals so as to keep pace with improvement opportunities.
• Coordinates the necessary resources for managing efficient and effective projects within the program.
• Delivers written and oral communication, responds to questions and concerns, and produce specific outcomes and impact.
• Develops a culture in which all members work constructively to improve the performance of individuals and the team.
• Documents established audit processes, practices and procedures.
• Explains data analysis results from a business development perspective.
• Facilitates communication and building trust activities with employees and managers while maintaining confidentiality.
• Produces standard project status reports.
• Responds to day-to-day operational priorities while still making progress on project work.
• Revisits and reworks individual work plans to ensure intermediate deadlines are attainable.
• Uses software tools and technologies for document management.Utilizes specific approaches and tools for checking and cross-checking outputs.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree required in computer science, computer information systems, management information systems or related field.
Expert knowledge and experience with excel, spreadsheet management, information technology (IT) technical skills. Experience working in a healthcare facility is beneficial and preferred.
