Description  

 

  • Provides consistent customer contact with emphasis on maintaining and improving relationships with Intek’s customers (external and internal).

 

  • Manages incoming sales calls and e-mails on a professional level.

 

  • Manages and processes the order cycle from entry to completion in a timely and efficient manner. Coordinates and processes all data needed for customer orders through contact with other company departments when necessary.

 

  • Monitors Customer Communication on assigned accounts to provide the customer accurate status information in all areas of interest for that account, expediting orders and informing customers of status of orders and options when necessary.

 

  • Informs appropriate department or company management of critical deadlines, customer requests, quality issues, and all other significant information through written and/or verbal communication in a competent and reliable manner.

 

  • Supports Sales/Marketing, Engineering, Production personnel by follow-through or initiation of R&D samples; new die packets; ECR’s; including sample processing and sample approvals, print files, production and extrusion packets and any other necessary documentation to support these processes.

 

  • Assists shipping process to ensure accuracy and meet deadline criteria as requested by customer.

 

  • Provides input and decision making on customer complaints or quality rejects, including creating Non Conformance Reports, issuing Return Material Authorizations, and processing of related debits and credits to customer accounts.

 

 

  • Ensures on-time completion of customer orders and coordinates delays on customer orders.

 

  • Assists in maintaining appropriate Intek-Intime and excess inventory levels.

 

  • Maintains standard work instructions for assigned accounts and department procedures.

 

  • Manages set-up of customer accounts on EDI and ASN and ensures workable procedures with IS Department, Customer Service Representatives and the customer.

 

  • Actively participates in continuous improvement activities.

 

  • Every employee is expected to support the INTEK Quality Management System (QMS) is accordance with our Quality System Manual and Documented Procedures.

 

  • Performs other accountabilities as apparent or assigned.

  • Ability to provide the expected level of service and liaison to assigned accounts with minimum supervision.

 

  • Ability to plan and prioritize work to make the most productive use of available time, recognizing when assistance is required from the Manager or other management personnel.

 

  • Ability to develop and maintain working relationships which contribute to a productive results-oriented climate.
