Assistant Director of Industry Relations
Concordia University is seeking applicants for the, full-time, position of Assistant Director Industry Relations located on the Mequon Campus. The Assistant Director reports to the Director Center for Academic Advising and Career Engagement and is housed within Student Enrollment and Engagement. This position requires a normal eight-hour workday; however, as a salaried position; the Assistant Director will need to work extended hours, including some weekend and evening events, to meet the demands of the job.
The Assistant Director of Industry Relations will be responsible for internships and experiential opportunities connected to the full range of our academic programs. This work will include managing data regarding existing internships within the Handshake software system and developing new internship opportunities within the community that are aligned with each academic school and program, and, eventually, each delivery modality. This position encompasses three distinct areas of responsibility: career, internship, and experiential learning development and coordination, Handshake software management, and on-campus recruitment. To accomplish this work, the Assistant Director will collaborate with existing placement staff within many of CUWAA's academic programs, the Career Engagement and Industry Relations staff at CUAA, as well as the Community Outreach and Veterans Engagement department.

Bachelor's degree required, Master's Preferred. Two years of experience in a business or career office setting preferred. Skill in experiential learning development preferred. Experience and certification to administer and interpret career inventories preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
This is a full-time position. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications, education, and experience.
