    PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    If you're the person we're looking for, you know most of what this job entails. However, to ensure we are painting a complete picture, here are some details:

    You will be a part of a team of HR Generalists across the US region supporting managers and employee groups across functions and product lines. You will provide your assigned client groups professional human resources support and coaching to improve capabilities of the teams and facilitate the delivery of the end to end HR life cycle. Areas of support and responsibility include but are not limited to benefits administration, employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, talent acquisition, affirmative action and employment law compliance.

    In general, your day to day work will have a portion focused on the tactical execution support for HR functions needed by managers to support their employee needs. However, your ability to advise, coach develop and grow managers with strategic insight and support will also be needed in working with functional leaders across the business to support and drive the organizations strategic vision.

    In addition, you will support corporate initiatives in areas such as workforce planning, employee engagement, recruitment, etc. Typically, you will start with a corporate-designed program and then adjust it for regional relevance. In some cases, you may have the opportunity to customize a program a little differently for the different sites.

    An important part of the role will be establishing and maintaining relationships with business leaders and other key contacts in the region. You'll work with them to understand needs, address gaps, develop and carryout action items. In addition, you'll interact with the corporate HR team.

  • EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Management or a related degree or equivalent of education and experience required.
  • At least 3 years of experience and a broad foundation in HR, including recruiting, employee relations, benefits, compensation, training, performance management, compliance, etc.
  • Experience working in a Shared-Services environment.
  • Strong skills and prior experience in facilitating and delivering training and coaching for development.
  • Experience in manufacturing environments is a strong plus, and the ideal candidate will have experience supporting cross functional groups such as commercial, engineering and other client groups.
  • Practical knowledge of HR related laws and regulations.
  • Computer proficiency and familiarity with MS Office and HRIS applications.

    Experience with SuccessFactors

    Knowledge of legal system (by state)

    HR Ccertifications/Continuing Education
