Description:

The successful candidate will have the ability to thrive in a deadline driven environment, be detailed oriented and a self-starter with a proven track record of a minimum 3-5 year experience managing full lifecycle of creative projects, packaging costing and production.



This position will work closely with the General Manager, overseas contacts, and compliance teams on technical areas of packaging; primarily maintaining information for systems while assisting with daily correspondence, packaging compliance, and review of factory sample submits for consumer electronics.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:


  • Assist with product information requests for product specifications related to new products
  • Make sure all product assets provided by the packaging designer and agency are consistent and include all relevant information per brand
  • Upload and update materials, labels, packaging, and packets in web system as needed
  • Communicate with factories to answer packaging and labeling questions and resolve issues
  • Coordinate with Private Label contacts, Marketing and/or Design for approval process with packaging direction
  • Follow up on pending information from suppliers and / or printers, i.e. missing specification information, cost estimate agreements, feedback on routing of proofs, etc.
  • Manage packaging process and communicates with key stakeholders throughout the design to launch process
  • Work with overseas factories to establish milestone dates
  • Review artwork and copy for grammatical and spelling errors
  • Special projects, as needed


POSITION QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS


  • Experience working with MS Office 365, WebCenter and project management software
  • Experience with GMI, brand agency or Target packaging or similar
  • Owned brand/private label packaging experience


Qualifications: Experience, Competencies, and Education:


  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in a design, marketing, project management or business discipline.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing projects. Must possess strong project management skills with experience overseeing and following through on processes and projects.
  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize, think quickly and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills and detail oriented.
  • Able to effectively negotiate and diplomatically manage conflicting points of view.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including ability to collaborate with individuals from many areas and disciplines within the organization.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, WebCenter.

Education/Experience:


  • College Degree preferred
  • 3-5 years of related packaging, marketing or project management experience
