CNC Laser Operator

Nor-ell operates an industrial powder coating/liquid painting (metal finishing) division. We are seeking a well-versed CNC Laser Operator. He or she will be operating a CO2 Laser to produce our highly delicate and high tolerance parts. CAD experience is a plus but not required. Past laser operating experience is required and computer/programming/and graphical skills are desired in order to operate our laser with competence. Daily, weekly, and Monthly duties are part of the position including minor maintenance to ensure the laser is operating properly and the laser beam is focused correctly. Basic knowledge of laser physics is a plus; additional training will be provided. The job overview is a productive, dedicated, self-motivated individual looking to further our laser knowledge and provide Nor-ell with a consistent production of laser etching, cutting, and optimal "green light" operation. One must be organized and plan (in advance) for any variables that may or may not need additional monitoring to make sure the product is within tolerance and lasered correctly. The day to day may become easier with experience and SOPs already in place generated by our Company.
