The Ski School Facilites position is ultimately responsible for the overall quality of the resorts' Ski School Check In/Check out set up and overall on hill appearance. This position plays an integral role in the success of the school and will have daily communication and interaction with ski school management, rental associates, instructors, product sales staff, inside support staff, guests, and children and parents attending ski school.

Additional responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

* Training - including set up procedure and on hill safety
* Supervising and coaching employees
* Delegating tasks and ensuring the job is completed to brand standard
* Maintaining schedules to achieve a high quality guest experience
* Overall morale of set up crew
* Workplace safety and supporting safety initiatives
* Quality control - routine equipment maintenance and replacement
* Assisting with the yearly inventory and replacement of retired equipment
* Self-development
* Driving value for the company
* Continuous and superior guest relations
* Team management
* Maintaining and promoting teamwork
* Operational duties and maintenance of physical assets and other duties as assigned
* Communication - with Ski School Management, TAs, Rental Associates, and Mountain Safety

Requirements:

* Must be 18 years or older
* High School diploma or equivalent is required
* Must possess superior guest service skills
* Must be able to read, write, speak, understand and comprehend English fluently
* Desire to work directly with young children and adults
* Knowledge of skiing/snowboarding
* Must be willing and able to be outside in adverse winter conditions
* Must be able to stand for long periods of time
* Must be able to lift, bend and carry items with a combined weight of 50 lbs (such as ski racks, ski and snowboard equipment, etc.)
* Must be able to operate and hold a drill
* Must be willing/able to work weekends and holidays throughout the season

Preferred Skills:

* Previous experience with children is preferred
* Previous set up crew experience preferred
