Technical Manager

Position Description:
Manage, coordinate and work with the technical team to develop technical services, processing, product development, and generate income from private industry, commodity groups and other clientele. Coordinate and participate in technical aspects of educational programs related to crops produced in this region. Oversee and maintain facilities.

Minimum Qualifications:

• B.S. in Food Science, Cereal Science, Plant Science, Agricultural Engineering, Chemical Engineering or other related field or minimum of 8 years experience managing people and processes
• 2-3 years of food, feed, seed, industrial processing or manufacturing experience with 5 years preferred.
• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong English speaking skills
• Ability to work well as a team member, managing and providing leadership to technical staff and helping staff with professional growth
• Ability to work well with customers

Preferred Qualifications:

• M.S. with 5 years of food, feed or seed industry processing experience
