Electrical Assembly Technician

Background

A leader in the aerospace industry is seeking an experience Electrical Professional to join their team! This role will focus on the assembly of large and complex equipment that will be used for test cells and wind tunnels for aerodynamic testing. This role is a permanent/direct hire opening, and will offer a competitive salary and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Build cable assemblies, junction boxes, computer cabinetry, and consoles from blueprints, which requires soldering, crimping and wiring systems


• Discuss layout and assembly requirements with electrical engineers and designers to clarify functional criteria of end unit


• Maintains company required records and reporting for identified process or equipment


• Inspect finished equipment and parts


• Other duties as assigned
  
  

Previous Requirements

• Two year technical degree or accredited training program certification in electrical systems preferred


• Over 5 (five) years of proven experience in electronics is required and the ability to demonstrate high proficiency in the area of electronics


• Thorough knowledge of electrical/electronic components and equipment including the use of special instruments for assembly and diagnostic purposes.


• Must be able to work well with all levels of employees


• High degree of precision work wiring, soldering, crimping
