Enterprise Data Governance Business Analyst

Job Description
Operational Risk Management recently established an Enterprise Data Governance (EDG) program by creating a framework, policy, minimum standards, and rolling out tools to support this program. This position will support the users and Risk Segments that have engaged in the program through the pilot exercise and support the ongoing program roll out of governance tools to the enterprise. This position will be a member of the EDG team, reporting to the Senior Director of Operational Risk Management (ORM) and will work with the business Local Data Governance (LDG) teams and our Data Management (DM) technology team.
Responsibilities

??? Become the first line of support to the LDG teams for the operational support and intake activities, manage the shared inbox and support the EDG SharePoint site.

??? Support the EDG with the following:
Configuration and validation of the Informatica Axon, EDC and IDQ systems.
Drafting training materials and support training needs of the program.
Reporting needs.

??? Enhancement and upgrade review process.

??? Participate as a representative in the new risk segment implementations as needed in requirements gathering, user acceptance testing (UAT), and go live .

??? Participate in UAT process for 3 environments for new risk segments and system upgrades.

??? Manage multiple relationships across the organization, and at times with external parties and clients. Be the main point of contact to answer questions within business analyst area of expertise.

??? Provide and review ad hoc or routine reports of quantitative and qualitative data produced both internally and externally to the company, ensuring accuracy and resolution of issues as they arise.

??? Present results of analysis and/or recommendations to business managers, communicating appropriate actions plans and priorities.

Required Qualifications

??? Bachelors degree or equivalent.

??? 5-7 years of experience.

??? Strong analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills and ability to use statistical analysis and modeling, with associated technology applications.

??? Strong relationship and communication skills in working with colleagues, and influencing customers on recommendations and analysis.

??? Demonstrated ability to manage multiple relationships across the organization, and at times with external parties and clients.

??? Experience acting as liaison among business leaders, staff and utility functions to gather information and share best practices, and to ensure initiatives are executed appropriately.

Preferred Qualifications

??? Experience with Data Governance process and Informatica tools Axon/EDC/IDQ.

??? Financial Services and product knowledge.

??? Working knowledge of MS Office, MS Visio, SharePoint, Outlook.

??? Self-motivated, organized individual with an ability to work independently and within a team, build relationships, interact effectively with business partners, and recognize when to escalate issues.

??? In-depth knowledge of business operations and processes with ability to articulate these processes to others.

??? Demonstrated enthusiasm for learning and developing creative solutions.

??? Track record of accomplishments, despite obstacles.
