Pay Range: $50,000+ DOQ Status: Full-time, Non-Exempt Reports To: Vice President for Entrepreneurship Direct Reports: None (NOTE: Possible supervision of intern) Teams: Staff, Entrepreneurship Position Summary: The purpose of this position is to facilitate the continued coordination and development of the Enterprise Academy program. A strong commitment to the vision, mission and values of the Foundation is essential as we work together to serve the communities of central Minnesota. This position is primarily located in St. Cloud. Position Responsibilities: Program planning and development (20%): Coordinating with other staff and the VP for Entrepreneurship, facilitate continued development of Enterprise Academy program systems and materials. Coordinate program-related meetings and assist in facilitating partnerships with community members and leaders, key local government and nonprofit organizations, consultants and other business partners to continue to expand and manage a coordinated network of assistance for lower-income entrepreneur clients. Entrepreneur training class planning, coordination and tracking (20%): Collaborate with Community Partner organizations in the promotion of the program to targeted communities. Support Community Partners in identification and recruitment of potential class participants. Act as first point of contact for applicants and coordinate application, applicant screening and interview processes. Ensure arrangements are in place for facilities, speakers and training materials. Coordinate training evaluation. Loan and technical assistance client and consultant coordination (40%): Partnering with staff and consultants, assess needs of entrepreneur clients and connect them with assistance consultants. Create and monitor consultant contracts and client technical assistance agreements. Coordinate with support staff to track services provided and verify consultant invoices. Act as liaison for business lending staff with Enterprise Academy loan applicants and coordinate assistance as needed for applicants in preparing projections and other loan application materials. Coordinate with lending staff to monitor existing loan clients and assess their assistance needs. Program data tracking and evaluation (15%): With the assistance of other program staff, ensure strong collection, recording and organization of program applicant and client data. Facilitate reporting of outcomes to program funders and other stakeholders. Other duties (5%): Participate in staff meetings and events and perform other duties as assigned by Leadership Team. This may include conducting special projects, assisting with other Foundation training events, working on cross-work group teams, etc. Serve as ambassador for other IF programs and provide connections and referrals as appropriate. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Position calls for strong knowledge of the joys and challenges of entrepreneurship. Excellent oral and written communication, critical thinking, problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills are required. Strong interest and ability to work with a number of computer programs and applications; and a willingness to work a flexible schedule including some evenings and early mornings is required. Cultural agility and awareness for working with diverse populations necessary. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in business or related field with three years' experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Demonstrated experience working with diverse populations and entrepreneurs and a high comfort level working collaboratively in a digital environment. Position requires a valid driver's license and insurance coverage, or access to reliable transportation.
