We are hiring a Business Analyst to join our project team. You will work with the Product Team and the Strategic Partner Team to document the business requirements from both the Product Roadmap and Strategic Partner initiatives to meet the strategic goals of the company. Your main job will include organizing, researching, planning, and conducting requirement and analysis activities for complex initiatives. To succeed in this role, you should have experience working on enterprise wide projects that are high profile with bottom-line impact, complex, and strategic in nature. Responsibilities: Conducts research and impact analysis, root cause analysis and perform process mapping related to the assigned project. Performs identification, analysis and feasibility of new business opportunities. Leads requirements sessions, process analysis, and business interviewing activities to develop high quality Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and/or User Stories. Creates robust requirements documents using current and desired state analysis, gap assessments, business cases, mock-ups, workflows and use cases. Performs quality review of BRD's to ensure thoroughness and completeness to scope. Evaluates current business processes to uncover areas for improvement and develops and documents solution direction. Leads ongoing reviews of business processes and develops optimization strategies. Conducts meetings and gives presentations to share ideas and findings. Effectively communicate to cross-functional team members, both internally and client facing including business account manager, operations account manager and project manager. Works closely with product team, development, QA resources, and operational staff. Serves as a liaison between stakeholders and development. Manages competing priorities. Ensures timely completion of deliverables within software release schedules. Requirements: A bachelor's degree in business or related field. A minimum of 5 years' business experience in business process and technology integration projects. Experience in health benefits, payroll, or human resources preferred. Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills. Able to work autonomously and be a self-starter. Excellent communication skills. The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions. Strong attention to detail and delivery track record. Excellent documentation skills. Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills. Fluent in Word Processing, Spreadsheet, Process mapping, and Process Flow software. A track record of following through on commitments. Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills. A history of supporting successful projects. Ability to be flexible, follow tight deadlines, organize and prioritize work. Strong team building skills. Ability to travel to our Thunder Bay office once per quarter.
