Job Details
Pro Staff is currently searching for a 2nd shift QA Technician to work at a local well known manufacturer. The quality technician is responsible for the inspection of CNC production manufacturing processes and products to insure the product quality.
Responsibilities
- Conduct necessary quality inspections using proper equipment and techniques
- Maintain accurate documentation of quality inspection results.
- Operate coordinate measuring machine with the ability to read the results after measuring a part. Brown and Sharp CMM with PcDmis software operating system.
- Ensure outgoing products is in compliance with required customer specifications.
- Assist with training and instruction for production operators in QA measuring procedures.
- Vast knowledge and ability to use calipers, micrometers, tread gages, profilometers, CMM, height stands, bore gages, and Mueller gages with the ability to setup with proper gage block setups.
Qualifications for Entry:
- Advanced print reading skills and knowledge of GD&T
- Basic shop math
- Familiarity with dimensional inspection gages
- Strong work ethic
- Strong ability to work without supervision
- Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions
This is a 2nd shift position (2:00 p.m. - 12:30 a.m. Monday - Thursday)
Pay is dependent on experience ($16 - $20/hr.)
