Job Description

The ideal Building Services Manager is motivated, results oriented, uses good judgment in all decisions and actions and is committed to providing outstanding customer service every day.

A day in the life???

  • Establish and maintain a strongfacilitiesmaintenance program to ensure theclean,safe and reliable operation of all equipment and building systems

  • Hire, supervise and retain a team of effective support employees

  • Support the business byunderstanding and utilizingstandard operating procedures (SOPs) and preventive maintenance schedules (PM) to support all areas

  • Partner with management and others to anticipate future business changes and challenges and proactively develop and implement new or revised plans

  • Manage the department budget and understand fiscal goals

  • Possessdetailed knowledge of all security, fire alarm, and other building services systems

  • A proven track record of successful results, for example, strong productivity, etc.

  • The ability to build strong relationship with peers and senior leadership

  • Strong organization, delegation and follow-through skills

  • Strong analytical andproblem-solvingskills

  • Proficiency in MS Office suite

  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills
