The National Account and Customer Support team is seeking an individualto join their area as a business analyst.This position offers applicants with demonstrated accounting, reportingand communication skills the opportunity to support an organization throughrelevant business process, analytical, and technology focused assignments.

Primary responsibilities include:

Leads, participates in, and performs intermediate to advancedanalytic tasks for projects that have multifunctional or broad organizationalimpact in support of Department, Bank, Federal Reserve System (FRS) and/orfederal agency initiatives. Projects often involve coordination andcommunication with other Department, Bank, FRS and/or federal agency managementand staff.

Analyzes business functions and operational process improvements and/orenhancements. Tests, trains, and completes implementations; which may includecoordinating activities such as developing plans, completing risk assessments,delegating work assignments, monitoring and reporting progress, and preparingnecessary communications for a variety of audiences, including seniormanagement.

Provides advanced analytical support and serves as a contact,subject matter expert, and/or liaison for Department, Bank, FRS and/or federalagency staff and management in resolving complex problems. Designs andimplements effective solutions to business problems.


Develops and delivers communications, such as proposals, reports,presentations, and procedures, including recommendations, for all levels ofmanagement. Develops procedures, defines processes, and delivers training tousers and staff.

Monitors status, identifies trends, and prepares reports onquality measures, performance metrics, or other department goals andobjectives.

Designs management information reports, tools and systems.

Coordinates business requirements and process changes for automatedsystems.

Leads or completes ad-hoc projects.

Assists in monitoring essential system applications to ensureavailability and timely processing of jobs, working with application developersas needed.

Monitors and verifies compliance with applicable new and existing policies,procedures, and standards.

Provides work direction, support and training to less experienced staff.

Performs other duties as requested or assigned.

Business Analyst III and IVprovides a higher level of analytical support and performs more complexresponsibilities.


Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance,or related fields, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor'sdegree in business or a related field, preferred.

Minimum 3 years direct work-related experience or equivalentcombination of related higher education and experience. Experience in abusiness operations or financial environment preferred. (5 years of relatedexperience for Level III; 8 years of related experience for Level IV.)

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices and proceduresand AS5/COSO controls and procedures.

PC proficient in MS Excel, Access, and Word. Experience generatingreports and queries from databases is preferred.

Demonstrated verbal, written and interpersonal skills with anability to manage relationships at all levels of the organization.

Demonstrated analytic, problem solving and decision-making skills,along with attention to detail.
