Job Summary

The communication specialist is responsible for planning, developing and implementing communications across the enterprise. Responsible for the effective delivery of communication programs through a wide range of mediums to create impact and engagement. Will be the point person and will lead the planning, organization and coordination of communication for specific departments and initiatives. Develops communications tactics including email, video, and intranet. Fosters relationships with key stakeholders. Routes content to stakeholders for review and approval. Delivers content on established deadlines using a variety of technologies including intranet, email, and mobile applications. Creates simple, clear and effective communication. Partners with the creative team in marketing to add visual, video and animation elements to communications where appropriate. Creates and maintains positive working relationships with partners and stakeholders to understand priorities and needs. Conducts final review and approval before communications are released.

Key Responsibilities:
External Communications / Business Development
  • Explore ways to re-purpose content to maximize reach of the Profile brand
  • Assist in writing, reviewing, editing and approve marketing copy
  • Assist in developing/executing sales materials that will be utilized system wide to drive revenue
  • Assist in identifying positive news and drafting / editing press releases
  • Manage and edit content on the Profile website

Internal Communications
  • Assist in the roll out and internal communication of all new Profile initiatives
  • Assist in communicating system-wide updates and promotions
  • Write and edit content for all internal touch points
  • Read, react and respond to questions, comments and suggestions from employees system-wide
  • Assist in gathering, reviewing and editing all content for monthly and quarterly business development overviews

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree is required; preferably in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or related field.
Experience in corporate communications, writing or copy-editing preferred.
