Surgical Services RN Manager

Description

Lakewood Health System is seeking a full-time Surgical Services Manager/RN with a span of control that covers Endoscopy, Operating Room, Pre-Op Services, PACU, Sterile Processing, Surgical Services Inventory Management, Cardiac Services and Infusion therapy.

The Surgical Services Manager is responsible for:

• Operations Management: HR/Staffing, Block Schedule Management, troubleshooting operations
• Management of Finances and budget preparation
• Innovations, Growth, & Corporate Goal
• Operational standards, Practices, Policies & Procedures
• Development of programs and staff
• Customer satisfaction
• Oversight of Risk and Infection Control management
• Regulatory Requirements

Qualifications

Current MN RN licensure

BSN/BAN

Previous surgical Services Manager experience

Skilled in interpersonal relations and communication/written, speaking

Knowledge of various computer systems, such as but not limited to: Excel, Word, Power Point and Electronic Record

Ability to lead and work in a fast paced, team environment

Membership in AORN, ASPAN, SGNA, and ASME or willing to secure once employed

Status: 1.0

Call Required: Not required, however must be available for contact in serious situations and make department aware when out of town.
