The Wadena Housing & Redevelopment Authority (WHRA) is a nonprofit organization that administers housing programs in Wadena County and governed by a five-member Board of Commissioners. Our housing programs include public housing, section 8 new construction, and the housing choice voucher program that are funded and regulated by the Department of Housing and Urban Development. Other programs include market rate apartments, loans, housing resources, and administration of programs in partnership with the City of Wadena.
The position of Housing Specialist and Administrative Support is to administer the Housing Choice Voucher Section 8 Program (HCV) following regulations and policies governing the program. This position will include assisting in management of WHRA housing properties and provide technical support to staff and clients.
