IT System Administrator

Agtegra Cooperative is seeking a IT Systems Administrator.

Preferred location is Aberdeen, SD. Other locations in our territory could be considered.

Position Summary:

As a System administrator at Agtegra, you will be responsible for the maintenance, configuration, reliable operation and installation of hardware and software. You will also participate in research and development to continuously improve and keep up with the IT business needs of the organization. You will actively resolve problems and issues with computer, server, and network systems to limit work disruptions within the company. This will require working closely with the IT Infrastructure Manager, business units, and employees to ensure alignment with the company's overall objectives, mission and vision.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, test, and maintain hardware and software
• Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability according to SLA's
• Implement and maintain data backup systems
• Implement plans and procedures for disaster recovery and business continuity. Conduct quarterly testing

• Create and maintain documentation as it relates to system configuration, processes, and service records
• Provide 2nd and 3rd level support for both hardware and software issues
• Periodic evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
• User account and security administration
• Data management/storage/security
• Patching and updates for applications and operating systems
• Office 365 administration, configuration, and management
• Configuration and deployment of Windows, iOS, and Android devices
• Monitor assigned systems daily and respond immediately to security or usability concern

Education and Experience Required:

• Associate or bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration, or a closely related field, or equivalent experience required
• I T certifications from Microsoft, Cisco, or other related fields are a plus
• Broad understanding of business (Agriculture industry preferred) and IT functions
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and organization skills required

• Windows Operating Systems, Active Directory, and Group Policies
• Microsoft SaaS solutions including: Office 365, Azure, Intune, Dynamics
• Network concepts including: Routing, VLANs, VPN, DHCP, DNS, Firewalls
• VMware, Enterprise storage and compute platforms, disaster recovery strategies
• PowerShell and Azure CLI knowledge and basic scripting ability
• Server and infrastructure security best practices
• Advanced analytical skills, troubleshooting and design skills
• Able to work effectively in a rapidly changing technology environment
• Team player, excellent verbal communication, attention to detail, documentation skills
