Job Summary
You bake, you mix, you mash, you pour your heart into the meals you serve. If the kitchen is your domain and you love serving others, then the Good Samaritan Society offers the opportunity to use your experience in a challenging but exciting position as a Food and Nutrition Assistant.

What's in it for you: You will work in a faith-based organization with daily devotions and prayer before meetings (if you choose to participate). And you'll be part of a family, offering love and compassion to residents as part of a dedicated and diverse care team. Just ask our employees - it's what they love most about their role at the Society. That, and our opportunities for advancement.

You're a good fit if: You have a good work ethic, are a team player and have a compassionate nature. You should also know your way around a commercial kitchen and the tools needed to do your job.

What you'll do: A typical day includes working as part of a team to prepare meals for residents, including those with multiple dietary restrictions. You'll serve snacks and supplements and connect with residents each day as you document nutritional intake. You'll also help with dining and kitchen cleanup, safety monitoring, and sanitary practices to avoid contamination. It's fast-paced work, but the time goes quickly.

You're qualified for this position if: You meet all qualifications outlined below.

Throughout our organization, we aim to fulfill the most basic of human needs: to feel loved, valued and at peace. Are you ready to join our team?
