Job Summary
The Marketing Operations Trainer is responsible for coordinating, developing and conducting operational, product, and marketing training to a variety of marketing and sales staff. This position conducts group or individualized training to new staff members on insurance products, departmental technology, internal policies, as well as facilitating and developing ongoing training/education to existing staff members. The Marketing Operations Trainer collaborates with several marketing and sales leaders for overall training design and deployment. This position conducts training sessions throughout the state of ND at least 25% of time, occasionally requiring overnight travel.

Certification, Licensures & Registration Requirements
Title: Must have or obtain Insurance Producer License within 3 months of hire and maintain continuing education requirements annually.
State or Agency: ND
Equivalent combination of education, experience or training determined to be acceptable by Human Resources may be substituted, unless regulated by contract or program standards

Essential Functions
- Provides/conducts routine training to new hires and gears training towards product knowledge, company services, software use and functionality and departmental onboarding.
- Coordinates training sessions and curriculum with internal resources/subject matter experts who play an integral role in the facilitation of information.
- Develops, implements, modifies and maintains marketing specific training programs and tailors curriculum to specific positions, as appropriate.
- Assesses training methods and content to ensure it remains relevant, can easily be retained or is easily accessible to employees, can easily adapt training to an industry which regularly evolves in response to health care regulations, and subsequent product related changes.
- Utilizes departmental meetings, small group sessions, one on one communication, e-mails, and/or webinars, as well as other innovative mechanisms to educate
- Establishes and maintains a system to travel to all district offices on a regular basis to conduct onsite training.
- Creates and maintains departmental calendar(s) of training modules and courses, as well as maintaining online platforms or other training focused technology.
- Reserves training rooms, schedules training facilitators, creates and orders training materials, and helps to administer training attendance records.
