POSITION SUMMARY Under the direction of the Director of Client Services and within corporate guidelines, the PART TIME Marketing & Communications Associate is responsible crafting strategic messaging for a variety of audiences, creating content and press releases for social media channels, and managing paid content for use across digital and print platforms. A successful Marketing & Communications applicant will thrive in a dynamic, entrepreneurial-spirited, deadline-driven environment, using his/her excellent writing, critical thinking and communication skills to support BestMark's growth through a strategic focus on MARCOM activities. RESPONSIBILITIES Creatively execute key marketing tactics across our service offerings with a particular emphasis on writing for different audiences Write and create a wide variety of compelling paid content, brand stories, and quality content for use across digital and print platforms Write media advisories and press releases, as needed Anticipate the needs of the Client Services team in terms of content and collateral that will assist and support their ability to efficiently and effectively attain revenue growth Support the Client Services team in creating RFP responses and client proposals Communicate the company's vision and unique product/service benefits to a varied set of audiences including internal resources, customers, shoppers, and industry contacts Support the planning and execution of all internal corporate events Create MARCOM materials and assist in the facilitation of all trade shows, networking events, corporate sponsorships, etc. Stay on top of market trends and competitive landscape, bringing new ideas and marketing insights to the management team Lead a companywide editorial and content team to create both our monthly employee newsletter and quarterly external newsletter SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position supervises: 0 QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED Bachelor's degree, ideally in Journalism, English, Marketing or Communications 4-5 years of professional experience Excellent writing abilities for digital and print mediums High degree of fluency in digital marketing, Google Analytics and SEM Experience creating engaging content for social media channels Collaborative, positive problem-solver, with a deep commitment to quality client service B2B marketing experience
