Where you'll work
The core competencies of the Rochester, MN production facility are large scale fermentation; spray drying; and powder blending and packaging.
Key responsibilities
What you'll do
Do you have keen observation skills and do you like to keep areas organized and cleaned?
The importance of food safety and sanitation cannot be underestimated. Bacteria overcome many hurdles and try to become super stars. Are you the hero who has the knowledge to reduce and eliminate food safety risks and the ability to take on the following responsibilities? Keeping the facility clean from top to bottom will be your focus from hallways to taking out the trash.
You can learn titration (safety 1st here at Kerry! You'll wear a respirator when working with chemicals) learn how to dispense cleaning chemicals, sanitation equipment, break down equipment for cleaning, and once you become an expert, you can train others.
Qualifications and skills
What you'll need
GED or High School Diploma
If you have the willingness to learn, we can train you
Ability to wear personal protection equipment to keep you safe such as a respirator when you are working with certain chemicals
You may be lifting bottles, equipment, or pushing carts
