Sodexo is seeking?two Chef Managers?for potential new business located in?St. Paul, Minnesota.? One chef manager will oversee the dining operations for a 120 resident independent living and assisted living facility and?the second chef manager will oversee the dining operations?for the 60 resident assisted living and memory care facility, both within close proximity.? Will report to the General Manager?and manage a total hourly staff of approximately 15 associates.??Typical shift will be 8:00am - 6:-00pm, may vary with some weekend coverage.

Are you the experienced food service manager we?re seeking?

We are looking for candidates who will:
  • have oversight of kitchen operations including food production, ordering, inventory (dining room service);
  • be hands-on, will cook as needed;
  • will train culinary staff;
  • deliver high quality food service;
  • achieve company and client financial targets and goals;
  • develop and maintain client and customer relationships;
  • create a positive environment; and
  • ensure Sodexo Standards are met.
The ideal candidate:
  • has culinary production experience and a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance;
  • has prior food service management experience, ideally in a healthcare environment;
  • has the ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service;
  • can demonstrate the ability to prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed; and
  • can demonstrate working knowledge of Sodexo Food Management Systems (FMS) and Market Connections (MSC), and is proficient in computer skills and report management experience.
