Senior Engineer or Architect

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR: AET's Building Technology team has an opportunity for a senior-level Engineer or Architect to evaluate and design building enclosure systems on both new construction and restoration projects. The Engineer or Architect will market the team's services to secure new work and provide technical expertise in assessing and designing solutions for our clients. The Senior Engineer or Architect should have a bachelor's degree with 10 years of experience and professional registration. For this role, experience testing windows and air barriers is desired. IN THIS JOB, YOU WILL: Propose and secure building envelope testing, assessment, and design business for the team Manage engineering and design projects from proposal to completion Lead the project team (engineers and technicians) in performing engineering services like assessments and testing of existing structures, investigations and failure analyses, repair and preservation of structures, and evaluations of construction and building materials Prepare engineering reports or project design specifications REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Engineering with 10 or more years of related experience Advanced degree in Architecture or Engineering with8 or more years of related experience Professional registration with one or more state licensing boards Demonstrated skill in cultivating and managing client and prospective client relationships ABOUT US: American Engineering Testing, Inc.
