Tax Analyst

The Tax Analyst position is involved in all aspects of domestic transaction tax compliance and research in the unique and quickly evolving field of e-commerce.

Essential Functions

• Assist with the preparation of Federal and State income and franchise tax returns and payments to include preparation of required workpapers.
• Assist with the preparation of responses to various audits, including fulfilling information document requests and responses to notices.
• Coordinate the preparation of sales/use tax returns for monthly, quarterly and annual filings.
• Perform research and build knowledge of Federal and multi-State tax laws.
• Prepare the reconciliation of income tax and sales/use tax general ledger accounts; research/resolve discrepancies.
• Develop and implement process improvements.
• Assist with other projects as necessary or as directed.

Minimum Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, or other four-year degree with equivalent accounting experience.
• 1-5 years accounting for relevant tax experience.
