Description

Edgewood Healthcare is currently seeking an innovative, customer service minded, and driven individual to become the Executive Director of our assisted living building, located in Mandan, ND. This position oversees the day to day operations of the community; which includes management of staff and the delivery of high quality service to residents and their families.  

The Executive Director is responsible for the overall business operations of the building.  Some of the key roles/responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
  • Ensure quality programing (clinical, dining, life enrichment, marketing and administration) is meeting or exceeding regulatory policies through leadership oversight and audits.
  • Meet or exceed the financial goals of the community through revenue generating expense management and labor control. Maintain a high degree of resident satisfaction by ensuring quality programing and care is always given.
  • Oversee recruitment and hiring of employee applicants.  Lead, develop and support employees.
  • Supervise and lead the community management team to ensure a smooth operation that meets the needs of residents, families, employees, and visitors.
  • Build and maintain a network of external relationships (referral resources) in the community through public relations efforts.
  • Complete needed administrative paperwork/reports timely and correctly.
  • Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams up to and including the corporate leadership team and Regional VP.

Minimum Requirements

A qualified candidate will possess the following:
  • Bachelor's Degree in healthcare, business management or related field.
  • Demonstrated work experience in assisted living, memory care, or Alzheimer's care, preferred.
  • Demonstrated work experience in supervisory role with increased levels of responsibility in operational activities.
  • Must meet the minimum qualification requirements for Executive Directors as mandated by state Assisted Living regulations.
  • Effective communication in both verbal and written format.
  • Ability to successfully multi-task, prioritize and broader picture thought process.
  • Strong team-building and conflict resolution skills.
  • Must pass background check.
